Practical Rifle is an action oriented course of fire that is different every month. It emphasizes safe and efficient handling of semi-automatic rifles and carbines, and combines controlled, common firing line events with individually fired stages. Targets include swinging steel, plastic reactives, and standard paper.
The Langhorne Rod & Gun Club holds monthly Practical rifle events on the last Saturday of each month (rain or shine). The events run from 8:30am to 1:00pm. See the club calendar for the next Practical Rifle match.
Practical Rifle matches require pre-registration due to the scope of the shoots. We wish to get people in and out quickly and we feel that pre-registration speeds up the process and gets you shooting faster. We also limit the size of the shoot to help keep the demands put on the RSO’s and SO’s running the matches to a minimum.
Online signups start at 9:00am on the 10th of the month. A link can be found on AR15.com Hometown
